Happy New Year's Eve! I hope you've had a fantastic end-of-year and that you're excited about the year to come. At some point in the recent past, you (or your email inbox) clicked on a link to learn more about The Lab, my membership for professional creators. Are you thinking about joining us? The Lab is a special place. I've never quite felt like I fit in anywhere—I always feel a step ahead of most, but a step behind the "big guys." It's this weird middle ground where it feels like peers are hard to find—I'm talking about lifestyle creators earning in the hundreds of thousands per year, but not running a content factory with a massive team. I built The Lab to give creators like us a home, and it's been far more successful than I ever imagined. One of the questions I get most often from folks on the fence is, "When is the right time to join?" We're four years into The Lab now, and here's what I know: The BIGGEST value comes from conversations with me and other members. When you have a question, an itch, or even a massive headache getting in your way—The Lab is available to you on-demand. Those conversations may happen in our live sessions, in the forum, or even at our Offline events. But it's often a single conversation that provides a massive unlock. A single insight can change the trajectory of your work. I can't tell you when that conversation will happen or exactly who it will be with—but I know that the sooner you meet other members, the better. Breakthroughs compound. The sooner you have them, the bigger the tail end of their outcomes. So for that reason, I always encourage people to join sooner rather than later. The biggest reason I'm writing you today is that this is the last day of 2025, which means two things:
Sometimes I worry that the sky is falling and that everything I've built will go to zero. In those times, it's invaluable to have a whole community of people like me to talk to who remind me, "You've been here before. I've been here before. You'll be fine." You can join the Basic membership right now. Because it's December 31, I'll keep an eye open for applications for Standard and VIP (VIP is going away in January). December has already been our biggest membership month of the year (our second-best all-time)! In January, we'll be hosting a new member meetup (virtual) and our annual Town Hall, where we discuss our initiatives for the year.
