Well, simple doesn't mean easy. The challenge is producing enough good content that both attracts people and builds trust. It takes a lot of practice and publishing.
For a long time, my content creation process was realizing I had a deadline tomorrow and asking myself, "What should I write today?"
This is not a winning formula. It's not even a sustainable formula.
The publishing process really has at least four distinct phases:
Ideation
First draft
Revision
Publish
Trying to go from ideation → publishing in one session rarely produces your best work because there are at least three context switches (ideation, drafting, revision).
Today, I get ahead by batching these phases. I'll have an ideation session where I drop lots of ideas into Notion. Then, when I have the time and space to write, I'll jump in and write multiple things (essays, Tweets, LinkedIn posts). I can assign them due dates and come back to revise before it's time to publish.
Not only does this help me avoid context switching, but it lengthens the process. It gives me more time to actually THINK about the things I'm trying to say, which leads to better work. And, when I'm at my best, I'm able to get AHEAD of my publishing schedule.
Below is a look at my upcoming publishing schedule for the newsletter and podcast. This is a running list of my deadlines, and I can jump in and make a little progress each day to get ahead.
This process is made so much easier by utilizing CreatorHQ. Not only does CreatorHQ support these different phases of creation, but it also walks you through the process of ideation, research, and pre-production.
It even automatically calculates dates 6, 12, 18, and 24 months in the future so that you can remix or republish your past work.
Yesterday, one creator asked me if this would work for any creator in any niche – and the answer is yes. CreatorHQ is niche agnostic, so if you're creating content, it will help you save time, get ahead of schedule, and publish more.
Sorry, what is CreatorHQ again?
CreatorHQ is my complete operating system for creators. It's the same system I use (and have spent 3+ years building) to run Creator Science.
It's built to help you:

Earn more revenue
This thing is a BEAST. It's not just a system it's a set of systems. It's an entire operating system. It's the backbone of my business – and you can start using it today.
It includes my systems for:

…and a whole lot more.
It's been battle-tested. I've been using it myself, and 60+ members of The Lab have already started using it too. So far, the feedback is fantastic:
This will serve you for YEARS – because CreatorHQ grows with you. It works for solo creators and is also built for team collaboration.
