What's the best time to post on Instagram? |
There are many factors to consider when it comes to posting on Instagram — but the one that often feels like a make-or-break decision is what time to post your content. That's why we combed through the reach of over 2 million Instagram posts sent through Buffer over the past year, thanks to our data scientist, Julian. However, a quick caveat before we get into the times: there's no universal best time to post on Instagram for guaranteed success — we only know that certain days and times tend to yield more reach than others. Now, the data. The best time to post on Instagram is generally 3 p.m. on weekdays and 6 p.m. on weekends; while Monday and Friday are the best days to post. Reels are far and above the most engaging content to post. |
