I've posted on LinkedIn every single week for the past 21 weeks. But last Friday, I nearly broke that streak and have been feeling drained since. I've been tired for many reasons, but it has definitely affected my consistency. Yet somehow, I've still been showing up. Not because I have incredible willpower, but because I planned ahead. I've made it a habit to drop half-formed thoughts and loose ideas into my Buffer Create space when I have lots of creative energy. That running backlog has saved me more than once, especially on days like the ones I've been having where my tank is running on empty. All I've had to do is open an idea, tweak a few lines, and hit schedule. And just like that, I've kept up my streak. So if you're trying to build a content habit, here's what I've learned: - The best time to create isn't always when you plan to post.
- Energy is unpredictable. But systems make you resilient.
- A little planning now can save you when motivation runs dry.
Today's not your most inspired day? That's okay. Capture one idea. Save a draft. Plan ahead, even just a little,e and keep future you chugging along. Consistency isn't about perfection — it's about giving yourself enough support to keep going. We've got this. Let's get into it. Have a great weekend and see you next Friday! |

The Best Time to Post on Threads in 2025 (Based on 730K+ Posts) |
We analyzed over 730,000 Threads posts scheduled through Buffer to figure out when engagement actually peaks. The result? Timing still matters. And yes, some hours consistently outperform the rest. Here's a quick rundown: - Wednesday at 7 a.m. is the sweet spot — This time had the highest median engagement across every day and hour we analyzed.
- Weekday mornings are your best bet — Especially between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m., from Tuesday through Friday. These early slots outperform afternoons and evenings.
- There's power in the unexpected — Sunday at 1 a.m. ranked among the top five times overall — proof that experimenting with off-hours can pay off.
- Weekends are a mixed bag — Saturday and Sunday had the lowest overall engagement, making weekdays a safer bet for reach.
- Images outperform all formats — Posts with photos saw the highest engagement (5.17%), followed by video (5.14%), then links (3.78%) and text (3.23%).
What does this mean for your Threads strategy? - Start your day with Threads — Schedule posts in the early morning, when engagement tends to peak.
- Use scroll-stopping visuals — Even on a conversation-first platform, posts with images pull ahead.
- Don't sleep on odd hours — Testing unconventional posting times (like late Sunday night) might surface untapped reach.
- Content still comes first — Timing can boost your post, but nothing beats relevant, engaging content that invites replies.
π§ Bonus: All time suggestions are in local time — no timezone conversions needed. |
