💻 KEY PLATFORM UPDATES(and why they matter) → Pinterest released its 2025 Pinterest Fall Trend Report, spotlighting student-friendly searches, such as “dream thrift finds” (up 550% amongst Gen Z) and “vintage fall aesthetic” (up 1,074%). To ride the pre-loved wave, Pinterest launched the Thrift Shop — a shopping experience featuring weekly closet drops from vintage and thrift retailers, running August 20 to September 26. → On August 31, Facebook Marketplace is showing up IRL with a pop-up at Melrose Trading Post — complete with free swag, gourmet coffee and photo opps. Los Angeles is the first stop on Facebook’s cross-country road trip, meant to bring the marketplace experience to life in 6 different cities.
