I'm hijacking our regular programming and making today's newsletter all about Creator Camp. What is Creator Camp? This newsletter has the answer, but first, some context. See, a lot of people aspiring to be creators falter at one step: consistency. It happens for multiple reasons — lack of time, slow growth, unsatisfying results. But, we've realized that the top one percent of creators have one thing in common: they just. keep. going. So, we came up with a way to help You do just that. If consistency is a challenge for you when it comes to content creation, read on. If not, read anyway. Let's get into it! |

🏕 The Creator Camp Special |
When it comes to forming a new habit, even the most disciplined person has to work at it. From new workouts to studying, we can all agree that no matter what it is, adding something new to our routines takes time and effort. Content creation is no exception to habit forming. To the untrained eye, anyone with a phone can pick it up and film or type their way into an empire. However, we know that it's not that easy. And that's why we started Creator Camp. Creator Camp is a 30-day social media "habit forming plan" designed to help you establish a consistent posting habit, build your brand, and connect with a supportive community of like-minded creators. With Creator Camp, you get: - Community support: Join our Discord community, where you can share your content, receive feedback, and support fellow creators. This is where the magic happens — creators inspiring creators.
- Weekly prompts: Receive creative prompts weekly and daily to spark your content ideas and motivate you. It's time to step out of your comfort zone and try something new!
- Exclusive events: Participate in live events, where we discuss content creation strategies, share insights, and connect with guest speakers who are experts in their fields.

Create your own stock footage 📹 If you want an easy way to get into creating TikToks and Reels, or you want to upgrade your current video content, try filming your own stock footage. Here are four things to consider as you create: - Have your phone handy to record moments that might tie in with your niche. The best example is recording yourself at the gym if you're a fitness creator. Look for moments that might provide good background footage for your content pillars.
- Create a new folder on your phone or computer and migrate these videos over as soon as possible so you don't accidentally delete them.
- Scroll through them when you need some B-roll. When working on a new video, take a scroll through your stock folder — you might find footage to use then and there or get inspiration for what you actually need for the particular video you're working on.
- Don't delete any! Even if you use the footage in a video, chances are you can repurpose them again. There's a slim chance your audience will remember the precise scene.
Check out guide to creating your own stock footage for in-depth advice! Here's a practical example from my fellow content writer, Kirsti. |
