For those living with celiac disease , giving up gluten is a necessity. Others choose to ditch gluten in the name of gut health or losing weight. No matter the reason, going gluten-free can be a hard hill to climb, especially when it comes to doughy, delicious bread. So, we orchestrated a test to find out which gluten-free breads actually taste good without falling apart. The winner needed to impress on both fronts because nobody wants to eat egg salad on a bed of sawdust. We recruited two people with celiac disease and one regular ol' bread-eating dude. They sampled nine of the most popular gluten-free breads on the shelves. The assignment: be brutally honest. The results surprised us....
